Overview:

This is a brief example of the kind of application you can make when using the Excel Integration Tools. In this video I show how to get Inventory Items and Suppliers from Xero and synchronise them to a simple stock management application in Microsoft Access. This Access database is a modified version of the ‘Desktop Inventory’ template provided by Microsoft, one of many free application templates aimed at small business. With a few minor edits, it’s fairly easy to make these applications link to Excel files that synchronise with Xero.
